Cedro records what you own and the conditions it is stored in. This page says exactly what data that involves, where it goes, and how to remove it.
Cedro does not ask for an email address or a password. On first launch the app creates an anonymous account in the background so your records can reach your other devices. That account is identified by a random installation identifier. It is not linked to your name, your email, or your Apple ID unless you choose to add Sign in with Apple later.
Photographs normally carry the coordinates of where they were taken. Cedro strips EXIF metadata, including GPS, from every photo before it is saved, on your device and again on the server. A record of what you own should not also be a record of where it is kept.
Weather advisories use a city you type in once when setting up a humidor, defaulted from your time zone and correctable at any time. The app does not request location permission and does not read your device location.
Cedro uses Aptabase for anonymous product analytics. It records which screens and actions are used, as counts and category labels only. It carries no advertising identifier and does no tracking.
What you own never leaves your device as part of analytics. No brand, item name, note, price, recipient, or city is ever sent. An import reports "214 items, 3 humidors, 1,847 readings" and nothing about what those items are.
Cedro does not sell data, does not share it for advertising, and carries no advertising SDK.
Export everything from Settings at any time, as CSV or as a complete JSON file. Export is free and is never restricted to paid users. Your records are yours, and taking them elsewhere should not cost anything.
Settings has Delete account and data at the top level. It removes your collection, humidors, readings, notes, and photos from the device and from the server. It is a real deletion, not a hidden flag, and it completes within 24 hours. It cannot be undone, so export first if you want a copy.
Cedro is rated 17+ and is intended for adults managing property they already own.
